The ambiance at check in was very nice, since it is a fancy hotel, but it had a lot of historical features, items and artwork. The place kind of felt more like a nursing home in that it was a bit old fashioned, but the engraved doors, beautiful room setup and professional attitude of the staff was a refreshing experience overall.

I think the location of the hotel is important when staying in Waikiki.
However, I was surprised that the room was not cleaned properly at all!
